The beauty of using cloning software to speed up setting up PC shops

   PC shops invade the Philippines in almost all places.Technicians have their own approaches to speed up pc setup and repair.In many cases say for all inexperienced technicians formatting is a common corrective action. Having a very dependable cloning software is vital to speed up set up process.Here are the steps in preparation for the cloning applicable for windows xp.There are also ways to clone different hardware specification pc meaning its not true that cloning is only limited to same hardware specs computers.

1. Disable any locking software like deepfreeze.
2. Make sure you have backup for all the files that will be over written.
3. For different hardware specs pc blue screen of death occurs when cloned so we need to do some updating
   Go to my computer right click to go to hardware devices and select display driver.
   Select the primary driver and click update and convert to standard display.
This will avoid crashing of computer when a different display adapter is detected because of the different hardware specs.
4.If a different video card is present prepare the installer.
5. Remove the hard drive and slave it to the master pc .
6. Install cloning software that you prefer to use . I prefer casperxp or norton ghost.
7.Perform the cloning process overwriting the old setup with the new one.Cloning takes about 30minutes above depending on the storage size of the hard drive.

In my 5 years of computer repair experience.So many viruses, trojans, spywares have gone my way.Almost all the time I reformat. As in medical world where prevention is better than cure.We can do it on our PC. There are a lot of preventive measures we can do to augment attacks.I prefer these tips:

Setting a restore point. When any attacks occur you can try restoring the system to the restore point you configured.
Dual or triple booting by partitioning the hard disk drive.On Intel supported boards MAC OS can be installed.I have tried that and it's fun because you do not need to spend much.On the other partition I install Linux ,Ubuntu OS.On Mac and Linux environment windows viruses,trojans can not run and I usually manually delete virus using these OS.
Configuring your browser by avoiding adult sites that carries high risk viruses. I prefer mozilla and google chrome.These browsers support sites filtering and blocking of high risk sites.
Choosing a dependable anti virus.A prefer AVG and ESET Internet Security full and updated version.This latest version has a feature of auto scan for removable drives,web shield and so many more.
Setting up a user account and locking admin account to other restricted users.When I am downloading softwares or merely searching for ideas in the web, I use the user account.When unauthorized people are using my PC they can use my admin account only user.When the PC is in user account mode functions are limited.Install and other system modification are not allowed.
